The Animas Pump Return Program (the “Program”) is available only in the United States. The Program applies to Animas OneTouch Ping® and Animas Vibe® Insulin Pumps that are in-warranty as of May 15, 2019 (“In-Warranty”) and pumps that are out-of-warranty and not covered under the limited warranty (“Out-of-Warranty”) (the “Eligible Pumps”)*. Program participants must be 18 years or older and must be the patient identified in the prescription for the Eligible Pump or the parent/legal guardian of that patient.
Participants who return an In-Warranty pump will receive $750.00 compensation from Animas. Participants who return an Out-of-Warranty pump will receive $50.00 compensation from Animas. Compensation may be paid by cash, check or prepaid card, at the option of Animas. Compensation will not be provided until Animas confirms that the pump and participant meets all eligibility requirements, in its sole discretion.
To participate in the Program, participants must enroll an Eligible Pump by July 31, 2019 and Animas must receive the Eligible Pump no later than the earlier of: (i) 90 days after such Enrollment or (ii) by September 30, 2019.
All Eligible Pumps provided to Animas through the Program will become the property of Animas and will not be returned to the participant under any circumstances.
Return of an In-Warranty pump to Animas through the Program terminates the pump warranty.
Exclusions: Animas Insulin Pumps provided for temporary use while a patient transitions to Medtronic through the Animas Break Replacement Program are not eligible for this Program. Animas Insulin Pumps that have been provided to Medtronic prior to May 20, 2019 in exchange for a Medtronic Insulin Pump are not eligible for this Program.
